General Information For the applicant

List of documents required before coming to the Republic of Belarus:

- Copies of educational documents with the attachment of the subjects taken and the grades and scores obtained (secondary education certificate, diploma of graduation from a higher education institution, its attachment, master's diploma, etc.);
- A copy of the medical report on the state of health issued by the official health authority of the country from which the candidate is coming to study. (the document should not be older than 6 months);
- Copy of the certificate on absence of HIV infection. (the document should not be older than 6 months);
- Copy of passport (valid for 1 year or more);
- Copy of birth certificate.

List of documents required when arriving in the Republic of Belarus:

- Passport (valid for 1 year or more);
- Completed application form;
- The original documents of education with an attachment of the subjects taken and the grades and scores received (secondary school certificate, diploma of graduation from a higher education institution, its attachment, master's diploma, etc.);
- The original of the medical report on the state of health issued by the official health authority of the country from which the candidate is coming to study. (the document should not be older than 6 months);
- The original of the certificate (certificate) on absence of HIV infection. (the document should not be older than 6 months);
- Birth certificate;
- 12 photos (size 3*4 cm);
- Documents for registration of temporary stay/residence in the Republic of Belarus in accordance with the procedure established by law. 

All the above documents must be translated into Russian.





Foreign applicants who want to receive higher education in Belarus should request an invitation to study and obtain a study visa (for citizens of visa requirement countries). It is also necessary to register at the migration authorities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus.

Visas can be obtained at diplomatic missions and consular offices of the Republic of Belarus, as well as at the Foreigners' Entry Department of the Main Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus at Minsk National Airport.

When obtaining a visa at the National Airport “Minsk” - you must have a certain package of documents.

Every foreign student arriving to study in the Republic of Belarus is obliged to undergo a medical check-up before starting his/her studies. This is necessary to obtain a certificate that confirms the student's medical fitness to study.

The cost of the medical check-up is:
- For women ~ $85;
- For men ~ 75$.

It is also necessary to conclude a contract for medical insurance policy - 170 euros.
